Sessions & Workshops with Gateway Meadows

🌿 Why We Partner With Horses

Whether you are a veteran, someone seeking individual or group sessions, or an organization wanting to strengthen connection and communication within your team, partnering with horses offers a powerful pathway for meaningful growth.

Horses invite us into a relationship grounded in clarity, presence, and mutual respect. In this partnership, both horse and human communicate, listen, and respond. This intentional way of relating helps people:

  • Regulate emotions

  • Build healthy boundaries

  • Practice clear communication

  • Develop trust and collaboration

  • Strengthen authentic connection

These skills naturally carry into daily life—impacting relationships, personal well‑being, and the way we show up in our communities and workplaces.

“One of the biggest blessings my veteran husband and I have personally experienced is the connection to Gateway Meadows Equine Assisted Services. Kathy is more than dedicated to the welfare of each veteran coming to her “ranch” for healing. Her love for her horses extends freely to each individual and his or her needs. What a beautiful opportunity for deserving veterans to heal and grow. Thank you ever so much Kathy!”
