Bernie Kahnke, father of Kathy Friedrich, founder of Gateway Meadows, passed away in 2022.
He was a strong supporter of the military and loved the land where Gateway Meadows is located. He was thrilled it was being utilized to serve Veterans while partnering with horses.
The accessible restroom in our facility was built and donated by his family and friends and dedicated in his honor.
